The Claremont Fan Court community launched a very exciting two week fundraising campaign on Friday 24 April in aid of the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher, Surrey. Claremont 4 Carers aims to support the wonderful hospice team who, as key workers, continue to provide vital compassionate care for patients during the coronavirus pandemic. As a result of the virus, the hospice has had to postpone or cancel many of their upcoming fundraising events so we want to do all we can to help!
In order to exceed a target of £1,000, pupils have been invited to seek sponsorship to complete a series of 10 tasks (or as many as they can); each with a small fundraising value. If pupils successfully complete all 10 tasks, a total of £20 for the Princess Alice Hospice (earning a few house points too!).
Tasks include a 30 minute walk, jog and cycle*, completing chores at home, checking in on an elderly neighbour*, sending a card to someone who may be feeling lonely and writing a thank you letter to a key worker.
* all to be completed safely in line with social distancing
As a community, we can make a real difference. Join our #Claremont4carers campaign and let’s see how much we can raise for this fantastic cause!
