On Saturday 30 March 2019 we welcomed back alumni and friends of the School to celebrate the 1978 amalgamation of Fan Court School and Claremont School.
This was the first event of its kind for the School, aimed at reuniting alumni and offering the opportunity to revisit the School and learn more about the history of the Claremont Estate with a guided tour from our alumni and historian, Pamela Rider.
Guests were welcomed in the Drawing Room by new Headmaster,
Mr Will Brierly and Chair of the School Governors,
Mr Gordon Hunt, before heading off on a tour of the Mansion, followed by afternoon tea in the Great Room, where there was the opportunity to chat to old friends and staff, and make some new ones.
We were delighted to welcome back
Diana Allen (Class of 1963, Radnor), headmistress of the Pre-prep School during the amalgamation in 1978, as well as alumni and parent of an alumni,
Annabel Allen (Class of 1987, Esher).
